For high-quality switching power supplies, designers select appropriate topological circuits, and conduct sophisticated and rigorous theoretical calculation and analysis of circuit parameters, electromagnetic simulation, closed-loop control design, anti-interference design, thermal design, EMC compatibility design, transformer and inductor design, etc. Though these efforts enable them to meet the original design goals in terms of performance, function, appearance and cost.
However, the following questions remain:
• Can designers ensure normal production without entering the production line during mass manufacturing?
• Has the product cost been optimized to the fullest? Is the qualification rate high enough? Do we have sufficient confidence in the product's competitiveness?
• Will there be no large-scale damage after sales? Even if damage occurs, will there be no safety issues?
• Can the product actually achieve the expected service life?
• Are there any unconsidered issues?
To solve these problems, systematic and rigorous design verification technology has become the only approach in the design and development process.
