AC to DC Adapter
It converts mains electricity (100–240 V AC) into multiple DC voltage outputs, delivering stable and safety-compliant power to the internal drive circuits, control chips, motors, heating elements and other components of printers, electric clothes racks and height-adjustable desks. It must not only meet the voltage requirements of different subsystems but also ensure noise suppression and multiple protections such as over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature, so as to guarantee long-term reliable operation.
There is another type of power adapter specially designed for battery chargers of power tools and vacuum cleaners. Its biggest difference from motor drive power supplies lies in the requirement to provide corresponding charging voltage and current according to the characteristics of different batteries.
Power MOSFET
Power MOSFETs provide controllable voltage and current for motor driving. These power devices feature strong impact resistance, high efficiency, low switching loss and on-state loss. They are particularly widely used in battery-powered products such as power tools and vacuum cleaners.
DC to DC
The DC-to-DC converter supplies a voltage of 12V to 15V and a current of 400mA to 1000mA for MOSFET driving, while the LDO provides a voltage of 3.3V and a current of 150mA to 500mA for the internal MCU.
