AHB Flyback Converter Principles and Design

The AHB (Asymmetrical Half-Bridge) Flyback Converter Topology is a high-efficiency and high-power-density power conversion architecture that combines the advantages of both flyback converters and half-bridge structures. Its core features are as follows: soft-switching characteristics and efficiency advantages.

Through soft-switching technology, wide output voltage dynamic regulation, and highly integrated design, the AHB flyback converter topology overcomes the bottlenecks of traditional flyback or LLC topologies in terms of efficiency, size, and cost. It has become the preferred solution for medium-to-high power (100W–300W) isolated power supplies, and is widely used in products such as PD adapters, AI chargers, and LED driver power supplies.
